There are 4 factors that are impacting raw material pricing:
1)Crude oil pricing is at historic highs. Crude oil and its related refinery stream byproducts form the basis for the cost structure of our key raw materials.
2)US production capacity of a number of key materials such as Amines (epoxy hardeners), BisA (epoxy resins) and ethylene glycol has been greatly reduced due to unfavorable economics.
3)Unfavorable exchange rates. A weak US dollar makes the ability to source from offshore suppliers very expensive.
4)Direct energy costs to run equipment, heating of the plant, to transportation of raw materials – land, rail & sea.
Our focus this past year has been on process improvements, formula optimization and raw material sourcing.

We formulate performance EPOXY POTTING RESINCOMPOUNDS that are poured or cast into devices in order to protect electronic and mechanical components. Insulate, protect, and secure them in place with zero tono shrinkage, excellent adhesion, high dimensional stability, optimum dielectric properties.
EPOXY RESIN Potting compounds are 2-component systems that harden at room temperature or heat cured. Many of our Potting Compounds are UL 1446 recognized for use up to 180C.
Our EPOXY RESIN potting compounds contain minerals like alumina oxide, silica, calcium carbonate or other components, these fillers create thermal conductivity, low coefficient of expansion, minimum shrinkage and reduce cost. Our UL 94V0 (Flame Retardant) potting compounds are designed to suppress flame in cross sections as small as 1/8”.
